7 years old genius from India performed a successful surgery

The story goes back to 19th of November, 2000 in a rural village near the foothills of Himalayas, India. when the surgery of an 8 year old girl with burnt and fused fingers was successfully performed by a 7 year old Akrit Jaswal. Akrit Pran Jaswal is the full name of this wonder kid who was born on April 23, 1993 in Nurpur, Himachal Pradesh. The family of the burnt victim could not afford the cost of surgery and so approached Akrit who was considered as a medical genius locally. Even though he was not a doctor, he could successfully separate the girls fingers in an hour long operation and gave relief to the girl suffering for 5 years. This great achievement brought Akrit Jaswal into limelight across the world. The video  shows the process of the surgery performed by Akrit.

As a child, Akrit developed fast and could learn languages exceptionally well, having good passion for science and anatomy. At the age of 5, Akrit started reading books of Shakespeare and also assembled a library of medical textbooks. When he was 6, Doctors at local hospitals were impressed with this wonder kid and started allowing him to observe surgeries. Inspired by this experience, Akrit began reading everything that he could on surgeries and at the age of 7, performed the surgery on burnt victim. At the age of 13, Akrit had an IQ of 146, not at the age of 7, his IQ details mentioned are not accurate and was considered as the smartest person of his age in India. Because of this talent, Akrit could join and study BSc undergraduate course in medicine in a medical university of India while he was only 12 years old.

His father, Taj Mohammed Khan, a Pathan, was an Indian independence activist from Peshawar,present day Pakistan. According to Khan, his paternal grandfather was originally from Afghanistan.His mother, Lateef Fatima, was the adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan of the Janjua Rajput clan, who served in the Indian National Army.Khan's father came to New Delhi from Qissa Khawani Bazaar in Peshawar before the partition of India, Regarding his origins, he described himself on Twitter as "half hyderabadi (mom) half Pathan (Dad) some kashmiri (grandmom)". His father died from cancer when Khan was 15 years old, and his mother died in 1990 after prolonged illness.Khan was very attached to his parents as a child and describes their early deaths as a turning point in his life and as his biggest motivation for hard work. He explained that his ideology in life is ".. to make movies so damn bloody big..that my parents somewhere sit down on a star and from there also can look at their son and say 'I can see his movies from here better than I can see the Wall of China or anything. We see his movies covering the face of this earth'. Khan has an elder sister named Shehnaz.

Growing up in Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi.He was a brilliant student and an all-rounder. At St. Columba's School, he won the prestigious Sword of Honour. He was also the captain of his football, hockey, and cricket teams all at the same time.  He graduated with honours in economics from Hansraj College and did his master's in mass communications from Jamia Millia Islamia.After sustaining a football injury, he started to consider acting as a career.Khan then went on to study theater under the reputed Barry John, whom he credits for carving out the actor inside him.Shahrukh began his journey by landing the lead role of a commando in 1988 drama series "Fauji" (1988).
